Born Sidney Onoriode Esiri, on 1 May 1980 in Ikeja, Lagos State to parents who are both renowned actor and fashion designer. After his secondary education at the Nigerian AirForce Secondary School, Ikeja, Dr SID proceeded to the University of Ibadan, where he studied Dental Surgery.
The koko master moved from the Nigerian Military School, Zaria to another military owned institution Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Ibara, Abeokuta where he completed his secondary school education.
