Reekado Banks’s Biography

Born Ayoleyi Solomon on December 6 1993, Reekado Banks as he is popularly known by fans and lovers is a Nigerian songwriter and music artiste. Born to a caterer mother and a father who was a pastor, Reekado enjoys a great deal of support for his music career. Is it not interesting that this young Nigerian music star has good reasons to boost his passion for music as two of his family members were already into music? With a brother who is a producer and a sister who is also a singer, Reekado sure has a full backing for his interest in music. By the time the young Reekado would finish his secondary education at the age of 14, a star was already to be made of him. This marked the beginning of greatness for Reekado whose unique voice and enthralling performance has won many to his side. It was said that he got signed into Mavin Records after his brother had, on his behalf, sumbitted an entry for the record label online talent hunt in which the young Reekado was chosen out of 5000 entrants.
