Fathia Balogun Williams was born on 5th of February 1969. Her birth took place in Delta State, Nigeria. Presently she is 46 years of age (as at 2016). She is an Urhobo. Surprisingly, she speaks Yoruba fluently. Fathia has been in the industry as an actress, film maker, director and producer. Her first feature in a play was in the 90’s. In an interview, she said that she had a hard time while starting up. In the long run, she was able to pull through. She is a notable in the industry today.


She attended Maryland Primary School. She furthered at Maryland Secondary School where she obtained the West African School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). Afterwards, she got a diploma from the Kwara State Polytechnic.

Fathia’s divorce in 2013 with her spouse, Saidi Balogun, caught the attention of fans and friends alike. The divorce became apparent when she changed to her family name ‘Williams’ on one of her social media acounts. Fathia and Saheed gave birth to three children. In an interview, Saidi said Fathia bore only two for her, that the first child was of a divorced husband. He explained that she had the child before he married her. All of these were unveiled after the break-up.
