Eedris Tunrayo Abdulkareem was born into a polygamous home in Kano, Nigeria. He was raised in Kano and adopted Kano state as his state of origin. His father is from Osun state while his mother is from Ogun state. He is a rapper and was a member of the group “The Remedies” before he went solo. He was voted alongside great Nigerians like Dora Akunyili, Pat Utomi, and others by Nigerians to represent Nigeria in carrying the Olympic Torch relay. He married his girlfriend, Yetunde, and their union is blessed with three children. He considers Fela as his hero and source of inspiration. He has been featured on lots of tracks by other artists such as “Bad Guy Baller” featuring Mode 9 and VTEK.

Eedris Abdulkareem came into international attention when he had a scuffle with the American rapper; 50 Cent, in 2004. The scuffle occurred on board an airplane at Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. Eedris Abdulkareem tried to occupy 50 Cent’s seat and this led to a fight between the two parties. As a result, 50 Cent returned to America without performing at a scheduled concert in Port Harcourt.
